- Build a Blog As I am not going to spend a single penny I will build my website from Blogger. But people tell you that Blogger does not look as professional or as good as a self-hosted WordPress blog? I am taking the gurus word that you don't need a fancy site in order to make money but if you have some dosh to spare, go right ahead! Staying true to the target of not spending a penny let's just stick to Blogger. For a free service you get a top notch user-friendly system that even computer-illiterates can master.
- Target a niche market What would you like to do to earn a living? It has to be something you truly enjoy say like ace golfer Tiger Woods who makes over $100 million a year! If you play and love golf your blog could be all about golf. You can make it general and write about everything and anything concerning the sport or you could be more specialized and only write about trends in golf equipments!
- Content is King! Start hitting those keys and post about 3-4 posts a week. The better the quality the brighter your chances of gaining regular readers! And yes, search engines love original content.
- Monetize Your Blog! Just start with Google Adsense. Sign up for Adsense and you can begin to put advertisements in your blog. Later you can add other paying sites.
- Traffic Optimization Yes, until you get tens (at first), hundreds and eventually thousands of visitors a day I'm afraid the money is not going to come in. You will now drive free traffic to your site. And that itself is a major subject but rest easy and know you are on the right path. Make Money Blogging will be rewarding for you.
If you have followed the above mentioned to the letter then you have taken the proverbial first step. That was the easy part. Experiment around your blog especially try adding or removing gadgets in the Blogger customize page. Better yet you should create a few more blogs with different niches. How many more blogs you ask? 100 blogs for starters! Yes you read correctly, 100! Actually it would be more effective if you had a few hundred but I thought I'd just let you aim for 100. Set a target today. You can take it easy and create one blog a day so by 100 days you would have 100 or you could speed it up. It's up to YOU!
